Podium Life got to catch up with Navroz Lamba, co-founder of Formula Neon; a motorsports art company.
How did Formula Neon get started? Formula Neon was born out of pure passion for motorsports. Founded in 2022 by two friends who are die-hard F1 fans, the company began with a mission to merge their love for racing with entrepreneurship. One of our dreams has always been to see every F1 race in a single year, experiencing the thrill and excitement of each unique circuit. This desire to live and breathe the sport inspired us to create innovative, neon-themed merchandise that captures the excitement and energy of racing. Our journey from fans to business owners has been an exhilarating ride filled with memorable moments, and we’re just getting started!

Tell us about your commitment to a greener world. At Formula Neon, we are deeply committed to a greener world. We proudly affiliate with Shopify for a Greener World, where for every order received, we pay $1 to plant one tree. This initiative helps grow trees and contribute to a more sustainable planet. Additionally, a significant percentage of the plexiglass we use in our neon products is made from recycled materials. We also strive to use minimal plastic in our packaging, opting for eco-friendly materials whenever possible. We believe that loving motorsports doesn’t mean compromising our planet. Every step we take is aimed at reducing our carbon footprint and contributing to a cleaner, greener future.
Are you a motorsports fan? Absolutely! Our team’s roots are firmly planted in the racing world. Growing up with Formula 1, we’ve amassed countless memories from race weekends, some pleasant and some challenging, but all unforgettable. This lifelong passion for motorsports drives our dedication to creating products that resonate with fellow fans.
Do you have a favorite track, why? Our favorite track has to be Spa in Belgium. The combination of high-speed straights, challenging corners, and the legendary Eau Rouge makes it a thrilling circuit. Additionally, the unpredictable weather at Spa adds an extra layer of challenge and excitement, often turning races into dramatic spectacles. It’s a place where racing legends are made, and we love every twist and turn it offers. Plus, it’s one of our best-selling NEON tracks!
If you could win the 24 Hours of Le Mans or the Monaco Grand Prix, what would you pick and why? Oh, what a tough choice! Both the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Monaco Grand Prix are legendary in their own right. Monaco offers unparalleled prestige and the glamour of racing through the iconic streets of Monte Carlo. However, if we had to choose, we’d pick Le Mans. The sheer endurance required to race for 24 hours on one of the toughest tracks in the world is an extraordinary challenge. Le Mans tests not only speed and strategy but also stamina and resilience. Plus, the thrill of racing through the night adds an element of mystique and adventure that’s hard to beat!
What does the future hold for Formula Neon? Are you going to expand to other tracks and series? The future is incredibly bright for Formula Neon! We’re constantly innovating and our big launch in February/March 2025 is set to revolutionize the F1 fan experience. While we can’t disclose too much right now, we can promise it will bring the whole F1 community together in an unprecedented way. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
