This will be considered one of the best racing movies ever produced. It has the all the right ingredients: great racing, storytelling and Ferrari.
In the sweltering summer of 1957, amidst the glitz of Formula 1, former racer Enzo Ferrari faces a dire situation. His company, built a decade ago with his wife Laura, teeters on the brink of bankruptcy. Their already strained marriage suffers further following the loss of their son Dino the previous year. Ferrari grapples with his relationship with his son Piero, born to Lina Lardi. Against this backdrop, his drivers, fueled by a relentless desire to win, brave the dangers of Italy’s famed 1,000-mile Mille Miglia race.
This gripping narrative comes to life under the direction of Michael Mann, with a screenplay by Troy Kennedy Martin. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Adam Driver, Penélope Cruz, Shailene Woodley, Jack O’Connell, Sarah Gadon, Patrick Dempsey, and Gabriel Leone.
