For Indianapolis natives, Rev Indy has become a staple in the run up to the Indy500.
While Rev is known as an incredible evening full of food, dancing and fun, it also plays a major role in giving back to the community. The event is IU Health Foundation’s largest annual fundraiser.
Since its beginning, Rev has raised more than $6 million. Funds raised support Indiana University Health’s care in trauma, critical care, and services provided by IU Health for the drivers and patrons at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Last week at an event in Indianapolis, Rev announced Kelsey Murphy, winner of “MasterChef,” will serve as this year’s Rev Celebrity Chef. She was joined by Alexander Rossi, winner of the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500 and this year’s Rev Honorary Driver Chair.
“I am honored to serve as this year’s Rev Celebrity Chef and join with other local chefs and restaurants to bring the food creations that put this event on the map,” said Murphy. “Rev is truly ‘the greatest spectacle in tasting,’ and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”
As Rev’s official Celebrity Chef, Murphy will create a special, driver-inspired dish for the event.
