The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum has teamed up with RM Sotheby’s to bring a remarkable collection of competition cars to market, spanning from 1906 to 1966. As part of the Museum’s ongoing efforts to ensure long-term financial sustainability, this historic selection is being offered to the public for the first time in decades. Highlights include the legendary 1956 Mercedes-Benz W196 ‘Monza’ Streamliner driven by Stirling Moss and Juan Manuel Fangio, the 1965 Le Mans-winning Ferrari 250 LM, and a 1966 Ford GT40 Mark II, along with several iconic veteran and pre-war racing machines.
