Designed to mirror the iconic 1980s Porsche 911SC cabriolet, this go-kart showcases a striking 911SC/RS rally-inspired Rothmans Porsche white-over-blue livery. It’s built with fiberglass bodywork atop a tubular steel frame, propelled by a 6.5-horsepower Buffalo engine through a centrifugal clutch and drive chain to the rear axle. The kart is equipped with a distinctive whale tail spoiler, operational headlights, rear drum brake, 8-inch steel wheels, decorative rally lights, a side mirror, dual black vinyl seats with faux stitching, and an electric starter. This unique Porsche 911SC/RS-themed go-kart is currently available without reserve in Point Pleasant Boro, New Jersey.
The kart’s fiberglass exterior boasts a white and blue finish, with blue bumpers, a plastic windscreen, a white whale tail spoiler, and a decorative heckblende. It’s adorned with Rothmans Porsche decals, faux rally lights on the hood, and race numbers from the “1000 Pistes Canjuers” event. Measuring 106 inches in length and 49.5 inches in width, it sits on white 8-inch steel wheels with bias-ply tires, supported by a black steel chassis with independent suspension and a rear-mounted drum brake for stopping.
Inside, the cockpit features vinyl-upholstered seats, black door panels, a floor mat, and a faux boot cover, with a floor-mounted shifter (complete with a wood shift knob) for forward and reverse, and a centrally located handbrake.
The dashboard, styled after the 911, includes decorative gauges and air vents, a three-spoke steering wheel with a Cougar-branded hub, and an electric starter key. Additional controls manage the engine cut-off, turn signals, lights, and horn.
Under the rear decklid lies a 200cc Buffalo engine, delivering 6.5 horsepower and connected to a single-speed transmission with reverse, complemented by a 12-volt battery mounted on the right side.
