The Fernando Alonso you see winning races, sharing laughs in the paddock, and making jokes isn’t who you think he is. The Spanish sensation took a personality test, answering various yes or no questions about various aspects of his personality, including the difficulty he experiences in expressing emotions and other dimensions of his character.

Red Bull’s ‘pitch black pit stop’

It may be the F1 close season, but that hasn’t stopped the Oracle Red Bull engineers from getting in some practice ahead of next year. The team has done countless pit stops over the years, whether that be in pit stop practice or during an actual race, but could they do it in pitch-black conditions and against the clock?

Early glimpse at the 2025 driver market

Unlike typical Formula One seasons with driver switches, the 2024 season is notable for maintaining the exact driver lineup from the previous year, indicating an uncommon absence of off-season driver changes. Looking ahead, the 2025 driver market looks unpredictable, as only two teams officially have both their drivers tied down. So, with eight teams all having seats available, the 2025 driver market might be chaotic.

Mercedes superfan grills Wolff with fan questions

Tom, a big Mercedes fan, was invited to the team’s headquarters to chat with Toto Wolff. Mercedes had called on fans everywhere to send in questions, and Tom did the honors reading them out. The questions revolved around Mercedes’ proudest moments, lessons learned from the season, their best race, and more.

Drivers share in Secret Santa fun

It’s F1 Secret Santa time, and the drivers are getting into the holiday spirit. They surprised each other with thoughtful gifts; the most exciting part was when they unwrapped them. Fernando Alonso got a captain’s cap, and he was pretty sure it was because his colleagues knew he had a boat. It turns out it was a surprise gift from Stroll.
