LACORSA Grand Prix Game

LaCorsa Grand Prix Game

Designer Mark Haskins, holding a degree in Transportation Design from ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, founded LACORSA as a culmination of his love for cars, racing, and competition. For over a decade, this project has been his creative haven.

Funded by Kickstarter in 2016, LACORSA, which combines the Italian words for “The Race,” reflects Italy’s fervent passion for auto racing and design. The game features Press Gothic, an Italian modern font originally known as Metropol by Aldo Novarese, reminiscent of the Agip advertising at the Italian GP.

The arrow logo, a common symbol in racing, represents forward momentum and innovation, mirroring the linear progression of the game and the game board itself.

LACORSA is an engaging card game where each hand dealt represents a race, with championship points awarded based on finish order. The player amassing the most points is crowned World Champion. Designed for 2-6 players, each 15-minute race is unique.

Players choose their car colors, deal the cards, and compete for the pole position in this easy-to-learn, ever-changing game.
